£23.1m housing scheme planned for north Notts
Housebuilder Avant Homes Central has submitted plans and exchanged contracts on a 9-acre site in Sutton-in-Ashfield to build a £23.1m, 84-home development.
Called Silverhill Edge, the site is off Fisher Close.
Subject to planning, the development will comprise a mix of Avant Homes’ two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom homes.
Avant Homes has also committed to Section 106 contributions of £725,000 which will go towards improving local education, healthcare and public transport infrastructure.
If given the go ahead by Ashfield District Council, work at the development is anticipated to start in August 2025 with the first residents expected to move in by April 2026.
Avant Homes Central director in charge, Matt Barker, said: “Sutton-in-Ashfield is a fantastic location for us to further expand our development footprint in Nottinghamshire.
“As a company, we are committed to providing quality new homes for everyone in places where people want to live. Silverhill Edge is an excellent opportunity for us to deliver on this.
“We now look forward to Ashfield District Council considering our plans to create a new thriving community in Sutton-in-Ashfield.”
