Major Leicester office deal completed as business school adds to city footprint

The Fairfield School of Business has taken the entire top floor at Peat House in Leicester city centre in a deal brokered by Real Estate Investors (REI) and Commercial Property Partners.
Fairfield School of Business already has a significant presence in Leicester with offices at 1B, St Georges Way. Now, it has signed a 15-year lease on the 10,750 sq ft space at Peat House.
FSB provides higher education courses in locations including Leicester, Birmingham, Croydon, Luton and Sheffield.
Ian Clark, director of asset management at REI, said: “We are delighted to add FSB to the list of quality tenants already at Peat House and we now have a fully let building again.”
REI acquired Peat House in 2011. Tenants include Innes England, The Trustees of Association of School and College Leaders, Bellrock FM and Charles Alexander Distribution.
Brodie Faint of Commercial Property Partners advised Fairfield School of Business and Donna Barnes of law firm Shakespeare Martineau acted for REI.
