Willmott Dixon moves to Southern Gateway

Contractor Willmott Dixon will relocate its Nottingham operation to the city’s Southern Gateway at MIPIM next Monday (21st), it has revealed.
The firm has been based at Phoenix Park on the outskirts of the city, but will move to Lock House – moving in a 50-strong team in a move it says will show its commitment to Nottingham.
Nick Heath, operations director for the East Midlands, said the move to the upcoming Southern Gateway of the city would allow the firm to continue its growth within Nottingham and further afield. The deal was brokered by Innes England.
He said: “This is an important move for Willmott Dixon. We have been looking at moving our Nottingham operation from Phoenix Park for some time and we were very keen to relocate to the city centre; Lock House fits the bill perfectly.
“We are moving to a totally open plan and modern layout, which is more in line with the way we function as a business, allowing our team to work together to deliver excellent results for our customers.
“Over the past few weeks, our in-house interiors and design team has been working hard to ensure that the new premises will be ready for us to move in later this month. We’re excited to be moving into the city and particularly to an area where so much is planned over the coming months and years.”
Willmott Dixon is working on a number of high profile schemes within Nottingham including the £30m life sciences building adjacent to the current BioCity site and the Trent Basin scheme on Nottingham’s Waterside being developed by Blueprint.
