Leicestershire brick manufacturer set to create 50 jobs

More than 50 new jobs will be created in Leicestershire at the UK’s largest brick manufacturer.

As well as growing its workforce, Ibstock Brick will increase its capacity to produce an additional 100 million bricks a year in response to the growing demand for high-quality building materials from builders and property developers.

G F Tomlinson has been appointed to construct three additional production buildings at Ibstock Brick’s Leicestershire site as part of the multi-million pound development.

The project consists of a new 18,000 sq m production facility as well as a 3,600 sq m clay preparation building and is due to be in operation from winter 2017.
