Nottingham hotel owners turn towards luxury flat market

The owners of the Walton Hotel in Nottingham are set to enter the residential market after buying the former Nottingham Probation Service on Derby Road.

Shoby Investments has bought the 11,645 sq ft office building with plans to turn it into 1,2 and 3 bedroom flats.

The nearby Walton Hotel is owned by Alice Shelton who is one of the directors of Shoby Investments.

David Shelton, director of Shoby Investments commented: “We are looking forward to delivering an imaginative development of iconic 1, 2 and 3 bedroomed apartments to be made available during 2017.”

FHP sold the property on behalf of Maplezone Investments.
