US retail giants expand into East Midlands

Two US e-commerce giant have moved into the East Midlands after taking 550,000 sq ft of distribution space in deals secured by IDI Gazeley.

The firm has let a 258,503 sq ft unit to furniture retailer Wayfair at Magna Park, Lutterworth, and a 297,111 sq ft at Daventry Distribution Centre to Amazon.

Building 4400 at Magna Park, Lutterworth, is a newly refurbished 15-year-old cross dock facility with 131 dock level loading doors, 185 car parking spaces, and 163 HGV parking spaces.

Daventry Distribution Centre is an integral part of IDI Gazeley’s rolling ‘spec build program’. It is situated on Royal Oak Industrial estate and has 28 dock level loading doors, 3 level access doors, 230 car parking spaces and 120 HGV parking spaces.
