Bus firm abruptly ceases trading
Yourbus, the Derbyshire-based bus company, has stopped trading with immediate effect.
The operator, which ran services across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire, has taken down most of its web site and published a brief statement announcing the news.
The statement reads: “It is with regret to inform our passengers that unfortunately Yourbus has ceased trading as of 04/10/2019.
“We would like to thank our customers for their support and custom over the years.
“Any updates regarding genie card passengers will be released in due course.”
The Heanor-based firm was established in 2009 by the former managing director of Nottinghamshire bus operator Dunn-Line. Popular routes included the Y5 between Derby and Nottingham and the Y4 between Sandiacre and Nottingham.
