Revenue up as recruiter posts ‘resilient’ performance

Derby-based recruitment firm RTC has seen its Group revenue increase by 8 per cent to £94.9 million.

While certain sections of the recruitment industry have been experiencing challenging trading conditions and running into difficulties as a result, the company’s results for the year ended 31 December 2019 reveal a more resilient performance.

In a statement, the firm said 75 per cent of its £2 million gross profits have been generated by its contract business.

Companies within the RTC Group include ATA Recruitment, Ganymede, GSS and the Derby Conference Centre.

CEO Andy Pendlebury said: “2019 was another extremely positive year for the Group, revenue, gross profit, cash generation and shareholder dividends all increased in line with market expectations.

“I am extremely excited about our prospects as the work we have done to position ourselves as a lead player in the infrastructure, rail, energy and international sectors has yet to be fully exploited by the Group.

“Finally, we are proud that we have consistently delivered on our dividend commitment to our shareholders and our dividend yield is one of the best in the sector.”
