CPMG and Faithful + Gould prepare top-notch performance for Hot Property 2022

As this year’s musical hopefuls gear up for Nottingham Hot Property 2022, we speak to Nick Gregory from CPMG and Neil Walker from Faithful + Gould to get their Hot Property highlights. The annual charity concert is attended by the biggest names in construction and property and displays the best talent in the industry to raise essential funds for children’s charities across the region.

This year’s event is set to take place on 17 November at PRYZM.

What are you most looking forward to about NHP 2022?

F+G: As always, seeing Matt Hutton in action will be a highlight of the night.

CPMG: It’s always a brilliant night and an opportunity to catch up with people away from a work environment. Hot Property provides an opportunity to get the younger members of the industry out and about and that’s great to see. I’ve really enjoyed the Cartwright/Cowdrey duets at the last couple of events, so I’m looking forward to what they’ll serve up this year.

Why did you decide to sponsor NHP?

F+G: It’s the best event in town and we’ve sponsored for the past five years and of course all of the money goes to a really worthwhile cause.

CPMG: We’ve been sponsors for many years now and didn’t need any arm twisting to do so again. The chosen charities are very deserving and after the restrictions of the last few years helping them is as important as it’s ever been. It’s a fantastic event and we are proud to be involved – even on a non-performing level.

What do you think of this year’s theme?

F+G: It’s obviously perfect (since I was partly responsible for coming up with it) but given everything that has happened in Nottingham recently with Forest and of course the World Cup coming up, who wouldn’t want to sing Football’s Coming Home.

CPMG: I don’t have any football related tracks in my playlist so I’m honestly not sure – I’m intrigued as what will be in the set list and how tenuous the links will be.  I’m sure it will be brilliant anyway.

How has the last year been for you?

F+G: The last year has gone really well, we moved to new offices in both Nottingham and Birmingham so as the Midlands lead, that was pretty exciting.

CPMG: This last year has been really positive for our business. It’s been great being able to welcome the team back to the new offices and everybody has settled into the new hybrid working patterns really well. There’s a nice mix of work underway both in the early design stage and in construction – we’re very busy, which is great.  We’ve welcomed several new faces to both the Nottingham and London offices, which has been a positive.
