Investment firm acquires Crick industrial estate

A Northamptonshire-based industrial facility has been sold for £3.2m.
The 42,000 sq ft property, Unit 1-7 at Crick Industrial Estate on Eldon Way, has found a new owner in a prominent real estate investment firm based in London. The Wigley Group from Warwickshire, brokered the deal.
In 2017, The Wigley Group acquired the site for £1.8m without any existing tenants and has undertaken a series of enhancements and upgrades to the premises since then. The company specialises in the ownership and management of business and commercial properties across the Midlands.
Nu Vision Logistics moved onto the site through a 10-year lease agreement.
James Davies, chief executive officer at The Wigley Group, said: “During the six years this unit has been part of our portfolio, we have carried out a series of improvement works, driven rental value, and secured a new tenant who sees their long-term future of the business at Crick Industrial Estate.
“With our property portfolio evolving and a series of construction and redevelopment projects due to begin shortly, it’s an exciting time for all of us at The Wigley Group and we are delighted to complete this latest deal, which is a reflection of our positive management of the site.”
