Door slams shut on kitchen firm’s future

A Lincoln firm which specialised in kitchen refits has ceased trading.

Renaissance Kitchens, trading as Dream Doors, was incorporated in 2014 and was based on the Sunningdale Trading Estate in the city.

The company’s latest available accounts show that it made a loss of over £120,000 over 2021 and 2022.

More than 75 items from the company’s showroom are now up for sale by online auction, which closes at 12pm on Friday, August 25.

Asset advisory firm Walker Singleton, which is hosting the online auction, has invited bids on the company’s showroom appliances and displays and support equipment, following the appointment of liquidators.

These include ex-display appliances such as ovens, microwaves, cooking hobs, extractors, as well as a fridge-freezer, washing machine and dishwasher, from brands like Samsung, Indesit and Neff. Former display kitchen cabinets ranging in size and colour can also be found for sale.

The auction also features support equipment such as two Ford Transit Custom Panel Vans, a pallet truck and bays of racking.

Walker Singleton associate director, Luke Hartshorn, said: “There is a selection of items available in this auction which will appeal to anyone, from kitchen retailers and installers through to those looking for a new appliance for their home.”

“We would recommend anyone interested in taking part in the auction to view the lots and see for themselves the standard of items available.”
