Unlock the secret of rum: Dropworks Distillery in North Notts welcomes visitors for tours
Dropworks Distillery, Europe’s largest rum distiller, has opened its doors to the general public.
The public can book a DropWorks Distillery Tour package to see how the company is producing a unique style of British rum at its Welbeck-based distillery.
The tour options include: The standard Tour, which is Priced at £25 per person, this tour runs on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays at 12 noon, and on Thursdays and Fridays at both 12 noon and 5 pm. The duration is 60-90 minutes.
Then, meet the Distiller Tour which offers a deeper dive into the production process, this tour is available at a starting price of £85 per person. It operates on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at 2 pm.
At the distillery, the company’s main aim is to create a fresh new face for the spirit, showing the world it can be fun and accessible, breathing new life into the world of beverages, with their unique bottles representing each stage of the production process.
The team believes there’s a rum suitable for every palate, whether it’s their clear drop, funk drop or spice drop.
