New Indian deli set to open near Nottingham railway station

Bombay Sweet will move into Carrington Street

Bombay Sweet Centre, which sells authentic Indian cuisine, is set to open its third venue – this time in Nottingham city centre.

The company will launch on the city’s thriving Carrington Street in a former gym. The new outlet follows its original venue in Hyson Green and a second which opened in West Bridgford in June.

A statement from the company said: “Slightly different to what we have at Hyson Green and West Bridgford, this will be a cafe deli bringing you the authenticity and flavours of Mumbai.

“The team are so excited by this project, bringing Nottingham city centre it’s first Indian delicatessen!
We want to put ourselves in the mix with the best who are doing so well over here and we can’t wait to bring you all something new and innovative.”

Bombay Sweet Centre opened its first deli in Hyson Green in 1995.
