Direct mail provider edges closer to calling in administrators
A Nottingham-based direct mail provider is close to collapse after alerting administrators for a second time.
The Mailshop Mailing, located in Hucknall, has submitted a second notice of intention (NOI) to appoint administrators this afternoon through law firm Shoosmiths.
Incorporated in 2008, The Mailshop was established following a merger between Mailwrights Direct Mail and JS Direct Mail.
In its most recent available accounts, for the period ending 31 July 2022, the company’s profit and loss account showed a total of just £15,451, a significant decrease from £504,555 the previous year.
The accounts also indicate that the company employed 48 people at that time.
